Sometimes our life’s love was all the time right under our nose, and we didn’t see it, or it wasn’t just the right moment. Since breaking up, some couples remain friends, but there are also occasions when long-term colleagues and mates become intimate partners years later. In reality, we never feel more comfortable than when our friends are around us.
1. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin
Although it wasn’t until 2016 that the couple first started dating, they met in 2009. It all started during a backstage meeting at The Today Show, when her uncle, Stephen Baldwin, introduced Hailey to the moment’s biggest pop star. In 2019, the two got married.
2. Courtney B. Vance and Angela Bassett
At Yale Drama School, Courtney and Angela were school friends when they first met back in the 1980s. Things at that time didn’t work out since Courtney was having a girlfriend. Nevertheless, when they both worked in Hollywood, the two long-time friends linked on a deeper and more romantic level at the start of the’ 90s.
3. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
What is so passionate about these 2 is that Mila Kunis ended up marrying the person who she shared her first on-screen kiss with. The pair met during the sitcom That ‘70s Show in 1998, where they played the couple, Jackie and Michael. After that, both went their separate ways until 2012 when they reconnected and their love story began.
4. Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne
Sharon met Ozzy in 1970 when she was only 18 and was working for her father, Don Arden, who was the manager of Black Sabbath, Ozzy’s old band. After Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath in 1978, Sharon became his manager and this professional relationship turned into a romance, resulting in the divorce of Ozzy and his ex-wife Thelma Riley.
5. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello
Shawn and Camilla met in 2014 when they were both on tour opening for Austin Mahone. Since then, the 2 became very close friends and started sharing their best friendship moments on social media. This closeness made fans start rumours about a romance between the 2, but they were both dating other people. However, in July 2019, a single Shawn and Camila were spotted kissing at a café in San Francisco and later in the year their relationship was confirmed.
6. David Foster and Katharine McPhee
David Foster and Katharine McPhee met for the first time on American Idol season 5 in 2006, when she played a song penned by Foster. Soon after the wedding was attended as a special guest by McPhee married Nick Cokas and Foster, their marriage ended in 2014. In 2017, David and Katharine began dating after 11 years of friendship.
7. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
About 2002, the famous couple met when Kanye made a video with Kim’s friend Brandy, who at the time knew Kim through Ray J, her husband. When they first met, Kanye didn’t even know who Kim was.
2. The 2 began to respect each other from afar after that moment, while both dated other people. In 2009, Kanye also penned a verse on Kim. However, until 2012, when Kanye confessed his love for Kim in a song and invited her to his Paris fashion show, the reports of them dating were not true. The 2 married in Italy in 2014.
