Sun Hongxia of the Chinese province of Anhui, who had fallen into a semi-conscious state after a heart attack in 2014, reportedly refused to give up on her husband, according to the South China Morning Post. She always thought her spouse would get over his experience.
Man has been in a coma for 10 long years
Years of considerate and caring treatment, according to Dawan News, aided in his recuperation. The couple can be seen in a video clip that went viral on Chinese social media, with Ms. Hongxia sitting next to her husband, who is in bed and awake.
His wife is telling him about the past few years, and tears are streaming down his face. “Even though I’m exhausted, I think that once the family is back together, everything will make sense,” Hongxia stated to Dawan News. She described her husband’s unexpected heart attack and subsequent vegetative condition, as well as the shock and suffering it caused her.
Hongxia claimed that she was motivated to maintain her strength and optimism by the thought of her two children. She added that she wanted to set a good example for them.
According to Hongxia, she spent a lot of time and effort making her husband comfortable while he was unconscious.
