Well, we are referring to the Delhi Metro, a vital transportation option for residents of the national capital and its surrounding territories. You’ve probably heard these words when travelling through Delhi-NCR: Agla station Rajiv Chowk hai, darwaze daayein taraf khulenge! The Delhi Metro offers plenty of drama, entertainment, and other things to see and do.

Here is a collection of eight films from recent Delhi Metro incidents that have gone viral:

1. When a metro driver played a Haryanvi song of course ‘accidentally’

When the Delhi Metro switched to Haryanvi mode instead of making the customary announcement, the metro riders were shocked. How? Well, on a Friday night, its driver accidentally turned on the speakers to the upbeat song “2 Numbari.” The viral video of the incident shows the commuters laughing inside the coach as they enjoy the Haryanvi track, which is one of the many things we love about the city.

2. When videos of a woman went viral as she was filmed wearing skimpy clothes while travelling in the metro

A woman riding the Delhi Metro was recently captured on camera, and the way she was dressed caused her to go viral on social media. The woman, identified as Rhythm Chanana, was seen inside the coach with a bralette and a micro little skirt. A portion of the audience compared her to Uorfi Javed after the video went viral on Twitter. A few online users criticised the passenger for secretly filming the tape.

3. When two passengers took their household clash to the metro and fought over ‘1000 rupaiye ki T-shirt’

In 2022, a rumoured couple allegedly started arguing in the Delhi Metro over a golf tee. The girl spent 1000 on a T-shirt from Zara. The man claimed that the fabric couldn’t be priced more than $150 and that he thought it was excessive. Everyone was shocked when both of them smacked each other while riding the train and got off.

4. When a woman used pepper spray on her co-passenger over a fight

Two women sitting next to each other ended up in a heated argument and fighting over seats. Apparently, one of the commuters claimed that the other woman took over seating space more than was required. Things turned quite ugly, the viral clip shows that the woman on the left sprayed pepper over the right one. They didn’t just limit to verbal abuse but went all out to hand twisting and spraying pepper spray.

5. When two passengers had a dispute over a seat and one of them blurted out ‘yahin marunga’

With the Delhi Metro, problems with seating are not unusual. A video of two male passengers fighting uglily for seats while standing in a crowded carriage went viral. In the video, one of them is heard yelling at the other man and threatening him,

“yahin marunga baap ka naam lega toh”

6. When a group of passengers vibed to a bhajan ‘coz Bollywood is too cliché’

The Dilliwallas in the Delhi Metro can groove to anything, whether it be Haryanvi tunes or bhajans (devotional tracks), as seen in this viral video. In the video, travellers can be heard singing Shri Ram Janki together while seated inside a packed carriage.

7. When youngsters organized a musical performance because a little entertainment is necessary

Two young musicians performed for other riders on the Delhi Metro while they were travelling. The gifted musicians can be seen playing the guitar and the flute in the viral video while commuters hum along to the upbeat music. Isn’t it delicious?

8. When a man peed on the metro track as he couldn’t control his bladder

When a male commuter peed on the train track while using the Delhi Metro, public “mutravisarjan” reached a new low. He supposedly was inebriated. According to reports, the event happened at the Malviya Nagar Metro Station. The man who shot the footage can be seen questioning the passenger why he did what he did in the clip, which went viral. The response is as follows:

“Woh thoda zyada ho gaya tha”
