You don’t have to go to red carpet events or other difficult-to-access locations to meet a celebrity or a movie actor. At an airport, a cafe, a stadium, or even on public transportation, you can run across someone famous by chance. Of course, we don’t miss out on the chance to take a photo with a celebrity at such times.
Here are 19 folks who were fortunate enough to meet a celebrity. We are delighted that some celebrities honour their fans by agreeing to pose for a photo with them.
“My father sent me a photo of my mother and the ‘lovely young man’ (Chris Pratt) at their charity dinner table last night.”

“Today, my 99-year-old grandmother met her favourite actor (Denzel Washington)!”
For 50 years, my grandmother worked as a librarian at the Mt. Vernon NY Public Library. If you’ve ever met her, she’ll tell you how she handed Denzel Washington his first library card and how he was the sweetest thing and the most beautiful person she’d ever encountered. I’ve probably heard this storey 300 times in my life. Denzel ended up phoning and talking to her on her birthday because the women at her nursing home wanted to do something special, so they tried to contact him and ask him to visit or call. He said he’d be in our city in December and would swing by, and lo and behold, here he is! He was very sweet and caring, laughing with her and holding her hand as if they had known each other for years. He cried a couple times.
“At the gym, I met Arnold Schwarzenegger.”
“This evening, I met Pierce Brosnan, a.k.a. 007.” He was sorry for disrupting my birthday celebration!”
“My father in the 1970s with Muhammad Ali”
“I also recently met Bill Murray, a ghostbuster!”
“The expression on my friend’s face when she first saw Bryan Cranston”
“In Kandahar, Afghanistan, in 2010, my father with Robin Williams”
“I operate a taxi company, and my driver recently met Linda Hamilton, also known as Sarah Connor.”
“Just met Steve Buscemi and informed him he’s a Reddit legend; he didn’t know what it meant, but he seemed pleased!”
“I’ve met a lot of interesting people in my life, but this one has made my night!” “It’s Harold from the ‘Hide the Pain Harold’ meme.”
“I finally got to meet my hero, John Cena!”
“At Gallatin Field Airport, my friend met Jeff Bridges” (Montana, USA). He just happened to be wearing this shirt at the time.”
The shirt reads “The Dude,” the moniker of the character played by Jeff Bridges in The Big Lebowski.
