It’s difficult to deal with a breakup after being together for a long period. It’s even more difficult when ex-lovers have to work together after they’ve broken up. Celebrities, on the other hand, are known to be meticulous professionals who know how to separate their personal and business lives. Various celebrities have had to work with their ex-partners despite the uncomfortable in the past. Nothing, however, can be more embarrassing for celebrities than kissing their ex-lovers on camera. The discomfort that follows a breakup can endure for a long time, but here are some celebrity exes that kissed on TV after terminating their relationship. While some of them keep their distance from one another, others are cordial.
Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone
Ranbir and Deepika began dating during the filming of Bachna Ae Haseeno and remained together for a long period. They did, however, separate on a sour note when the Rockstar actor was accused of cheating. They then chose to be friends and reconnected for films such as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha. The ex-couple locked lips on screen in both films, and fans praised their connection. They have yet to collaborate on another project since the release of Tamasha in 2015.
Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor Khan
In 2004, the two initially shared screen time in Ken Ghosh’s Fida and began dating. They worked on films like 36 China Town and Chup Chup Ke for over five years. They did, however, split up during the filming of Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met, which was released in 2007 and was a big success. Following their split, Shahid and Kareena were said to be uneasy on set. They did not, however, let their personal issues effect the film. The kissing scene between the exes in Jab We Met’s finale scene must have been painful for both of them.
Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma
During the filming of Band Baaja Baarat and Ladies Bs Ricky Bahl, Ranveer and Anushka were said to be dating, but they soon split up. Following their breakup, the two rekindled their romance in Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. In the multi-starrer, they each had a few personal scenes, including a kissing session. The movie came out in 2015, and the cast haven’t worked together since.
Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif
Ranbir began seeing Katrina Kaif, his Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani co-star, after his breakup with Deepika. They were in a serious relationship until 2016, and there were even rumours that they were planning to marry at the time. They did, however, break up while filming Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos. Despite the awkwardness, they finished filming and even promoted the movie together. The ex-couple even kissed for a scene in Jagga Jasoos. Although there must have been some tension between them during filming that scene, they deserve praise for being meticulous professionals.
