Female YouTuber Among 6 Arrested In Haryana For Spying On India, Providing Information To ISI

According to police on Saturday, a female YouTuber is one of six individuals detained in Haryana thus far for allegedly spying on India and giving intelligence to Pakistan’s ISI since the start of Operation Sindoor.

According to the authorities, all of the individuals who were arrested had regular communication with the ISI and sent the enemy intelligence.

A female YouTuber named Jyoti Malhotra was arrested from Hisar, while others were nabbed from Kaithal, Panipat, and Nuh. After being brought before the court, she was placed under police remand for five days.

Malhotra has 132k Instagram followers and 377k subscribers. Additionally, she shared videos of her March trip to Pakistan. The Haryana Police claim that Jyoti has made three trips to Pakistan. Her passport has been confiscated by the police.

Five More People Arrested in Espionage Case

The other two arrested individuals were accomplices of other suspects. To gather information, the police are questioning each of them extensively.

For the same act, a second male from the Mastgarh Cheeka village in Haryana was taken into custody. Devendra Singh, a PG Diploma student, was recognised as the 25-year-old person.

“The devices discovered with him are the subject of a comprehensive examination by our team at the cyber police station. The law will be applied appropriately, regardless of the facts that emerges,” an official stated.

Singh was reportedly enrolled at a Punjabi college. He reportedly met Pakistani intelligence agents while on a trip to the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan in November of last year. According to the officials, he had been in contact with them since his return to India.

Two men were previously detained in Punjab for allegedly giving the ISI confidential information on Indian military facilities. They were identified as Suraj Masih and Palak Sher Masih.
