Ram Charan’s smash hit, RRR, brought him international fame. People are still dancing to the Oscar-winning song from the wildly popular film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The sequel has not yet been formally announced by the film’s creators, despite its enormous success.
But Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Ram Charan’s wife, too seemed to be eagerly anticipating the follow-up. She recently asked the filmmaker whether he would do RRR 2 after expressing her desire for the movie.
Ram Charan posted a video from a London theatre on Instagram, demonstrating the movie’s fandom. He watched RRR while a live orchestra performed for the crowded venue. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and his wife, Upasana, joined him.
After seeing the movie, Ram Charan and NTR posed for a fun picture with RRR director S. S. Rajamouli, which was included in the video. “Rajamouli, are you making RRR 2 now?” Upasana says after recording the video.
He added a crimson heart and an infinite emoticon to the video’s caption, which read, “RRR FORVER.” Notably, Upasana asked the filmmaker the question that the majority of fans had been dying to ask. Rajamouli hasn’t yet provided an official response to the query, though.
When RRR was published in March 2022, it immediately became a worldwide sensation. Notably, the movie earned over Rs 1,200 crore at the global box office, took home accolades like an Oscar and a Golden Globe, and gained universal acclaim.
In this epic narrative set in pre-independence India, RRR follows a valiant warrior on a dangerous mission who encounters a steely police officer working for British forces.
