7. Lat pulldown

The lateral pulldown, or lat pulldown as it is commonly known, is a combination movement that deals with the back muscles. Nonetheless, if you want to enjoy the full benefits, it is absolutely necessary to do it correctly.

Mistakes:

  1. The most common mistake committed during this exercise is unnecessary swinging backwards when pushing the bar towards the head. This swing is dangerous as it can cause injury to the back.
  2. Alternatively, stand just below the bar to avoid this swing.
    Stop dropping the bar too far as well. Bringing the bar right under your chin or until it reaches your upper chest is the best way to do this exercise.

8. Skull crushers

Skull crushers are an exercise in strength training that strengthens the upper arm’s entire tricep muscle group.

Mistakes:

  1. Many people are flashing out their elbows— not that person. While doing this exercise, you should keep your elbows close. Because you do not target your triceps properly by keeping your elbows far apart.
  2. Keep in mind that during this exercise you should not curve your back too much. You need to get your shoulder blades back and keep the normal lumbar curve, but that’s just as much curve as you need, no longer
