With over 2 billion monthly active members, Instagram is among the largest social media networks in the world. There are even some celebrities that receive the staggering sum of $2 million every post. Now, it may sound absurd, but these celebrities have enormous followings on the photo-sharing website, which accounts for the absurd sums of money they earn.
Cristiano Ronaldo earns $2,397,000 each post, according to Hopperhq, and he also happens to be the most popular celebrity on Instagram with over 484 million followers. The Portuguese football player, who competes for Manchester United K.C., has a significant global fan base.
Beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, who has over 370 million followers and earns $1,835,000 for every post on the photo-sharing website, is in second place. Lionel Messi, a football player, once more claims third place. The Argentine football player has over 362 million followers on social media and earns $1,777,000 every post.
Our favourite Selena Gomez, who earns $1,735,000 each post and has over 348 million followers, takes the fourth spot. Dwayne Johnson, who earns $1,713,000 per post and has more than 339 million Instagram followers, holds down the fifth spot.
