Elle Macpherson is a supermodel from Australia, a lingerie designer for women, an actress, and the mother of two adult sons. The 51-year-old model makes no secret of her age and shares the tips honestly to help her look fantastic and super sexy.

Her main tips are healthy and balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and pH balance.

‘You’d be shocked to see my handbag with pH test strips. I’ve never been without them. I assume that acid-base imbalance is the cause of most illnesses.’

‘Every day I do my morning exercises and work out in the gym for 45 minutes. I walk and water ski regularly. I keep quite a strict diet and don’t eat red meat, wheat, or dairy foods. Drinking alcohol and smoking are also strictly forbidden. I add vitamins to my regimen because it boosts my energy level and helps me stay active. I also consider protein and dietary supplements to be very efficient. They help my body resist everyday stress. During the years of following a healthy lifestyle I have tried alternative medicine, acupuncture, and reflexology,’ says Elle.

Stay active 

Elle works out for no less than an hour nearly every day. ‘I ski while I am in the mountains and go to the sea for a swim. I do yoga or work out in the gym as well. Wherever I am, I still have my running shoes and my iPod with me. Running is not only a way to stay fit, for me, but a form of meditation,’ the model says. Regularity is the most significant thing about fitness, according to Elle. ‘A few days a week, there is no reason to constantly be on a diet and kill yourself in the gym. Every day, you will be better off doing successful workouts or running. The primary thing is not to neglect your body.’ These are the core laws of Elle.

Being happy, motivated, enthusiastic, strong, and safe is what motivates me. It’s what helps me work out every day and keep on my diet. And for me, it is much more important than what my scales show. To make me go to the gym, I use a little trick: I ask myself if after working out I feel better or worse. After physical activities, I can not think of even a single case of feeling bad.’ Elle Macpherson also focuses on respecting and embracing yourself, as each age provides its own advantages, including age, wrinkles, and body.

‘Do what you really love,’ advises the model. ‘I aspire to be safe and content, to enjoy what I do, and to continue to do what I do. I love lingerie and activities like skiing, sailing, and cycling, for example. I don’t believe that sport is just a way to lose weight, or that business is just for money.’

Arms

For training on the upper arms, we use the TRX trainer, mounted on the wall. These exercises use the body’s weight to work the muscles, but they do not overtrain the bicep muscles. Elle even does push-ups on the edge of the sofa while at home.’

Abdominal muscles

‘Elle hangs on the stall bars and crunches, bringing her knees to her chest. Without bows or crunches, this style of exercise slims the waist. Elle drinks a smoothie of coconut butter, cinnamon, and the Body Brilliance Powder protein supplement after working out. It increases the amount of her blood sugar, so she doesn’t even think about eating a dessert.’

Legs

For the outer sides of the legs, we can not do without classic squats, lunges, and plastic roller exercises, and they don’t overwork the knees. Then Elle’s lymphatic massage treats her burning muscles.’

Butt muscles

‘You don’t really have to go to the gym to get your ass muscles fit. Bend your feet with a band of resistance, and walk through the room. This workout does not affect the joints, rather it works out the muscles and corrects the posture. Of course, you should not stop squats – do them as often as possible. The most important thing is to properly exercise.’

Back workout

‘Elle does special yoga exercises for her posture to avoid stretch marks on her chest and keep the muscular tonus. We call this workout ‘Y&T’: she bends her knees, pushing her buttocks back, gathers in her stomach, and lowers her shoulders. Her back and head stay straight. She reaches her arms out 15 times (she looks like the letter ‘Y’), then stretches them to the sides (like ‘T’).’ 

Feet

‘Elle rolls a tennis ball with her feet after her preparation. It is possible to use this basic exercise instead of reflexology. For women who frequently wear high heels, it’s particularly nice.’

One of the most significant aspects of Elle’s lifestyle is her diet. She eats only organic items and every day she drinks 3 liters of water.
