This power couple, well-known for their parts in hit TV series and films, has adopted an eco-friendly and sustainable way of living. They have established their farm where they use eco-friendly techniques to grow organic produce.

Considering their most well-known roles, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed seem to have been intended to be together. Nikki, who portrayed Rosalie in Twilight, and Ian, who is best known for The Vampire Diaries, have been wed for more than eight years.
Strangely enough, the well-known actor has always been drawn to female vampire characters in the media. He was allegedly in a long-term relationship with TVD love interest Nina Dobrev after dating Ashley Greene, Reed’s co-star in Twilight.

However, Nikki was the one who permanently won Ian’s heart. After they started dating in 2014, the pair got married a year later.
The couple also didn’t put off starting a family for too long. Reed welcomed their first daughter into the world in 2017. It took a little longer with their boy, though. Nikki disclosed that in June 2023, she and Ian welcomed a boy. Their family appears to be complete for the time being, but who knows what the future will bring.

Reed acknowledges that despite growing up in the city, she has always been drawn to nature and that her mother gave her permission to “bring home any animal” she came across. The couple’s first child’s arrival marked a turning point in their relationship. “I made a conscious choice to give my child the most normal life possible,” claims Nikki, who says it was the impetus she needed to relocate to the country.
Fortunately, Somerhalder moved without hesitation because he completely shared his wife’s goals and passion for the outdoors. He claims that a growing number of individuals are beginning to understand that living in constant chaos is unhealthy for them and are choosing to spend more time outside. The actor acknowledges that he belongs to that group, saying, “[It’s been] magic.” It’s just the way things are.
They are passionate about animals and the environment.
On their land, Nikki and Ian are caring for around fifteen farm animals, but they still have more creatures they would like to save. Somerhalder established his own organisation in 2010 with the intention of teaching people the value of protecting the environment and its species.
His spouse is a passionate supporter of animal rights and has received recognition from the ASPCA for her efforts in advancing animal care. Furthermore, Nikki is a co-founder of Bayou With Love, a firm that creates jewellery with recycled materials.
