Camille Vasquez, Johnny Depp’s star lawyer, has stated that her romantic interest is a British WeWork executive based in London.
Vazquez, 37, and her boyfriend, Edward Owen, 38, were pictured leaving a hotel in Fairfax County, Virginia on Thursday after Vazquez helped Depp win a key $10.35 million verdict in his defamation claim against Amber Heard.
Vasquez’s delicate interactions with Depp in the courtroom during the six-week trial prompted intense suspicion that the relationship was deeper than attorney-client — and he merely added fuel to the accusations by giggling coyly when asked about it.
Meanwhile, Owen, a WeWork vice president in charge of Europe, the Middle East, and Asia with a Cambridge education, has been quietly dating her.
According to DailyMail.com, the pair met in November at London’s upmarket gastropub, The Cow.
Owen earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Cambridge in 2005, followed by a master’s degree in real estate in 2006. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as well.
Before joining WeWork, Owen worked for worldwide developer Swire Properties for eight years, with assignments in China, Hong Kong, and Miami.
The two met in London in November, according to insiders, and have been dating long-distance since then.
