After it was revealed that he was getting married for the fourth time, a 57-year-old man whose fiancée deserted in favour of EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford issued a warning to the multimillionaire, saying, “I hope he knows what he is letting himself in for.”
Following the commencement of her new life with Bayford, 45-year-old Tracey Biles devastated bus driver Mark Newman.
After winning the £148 million prize in 2012, Bayford was obliged to divide his wealth with Gillian, his first wife. Now, the former postman intends to marry Biles in a lavish ceremony on a remote Indian Ocean island.
After their breakup, Newman is also cautioning Bayford about his wife. He said, “I hope he knows what he is getting himself into – the pair are welcome to each other.”
“I truly felt devastated when she left me since I felt like we were on the right track. Now, I wouldn’t cross the street if they were both on fire. You know the rest, though.
“To be honest, it makes a mockery of everything we supposedly had together,” he continued. “When I first met her, she was just a regular Jane girl, nothing extraordinary. She would never talk to me about money and would even try when I bought her a gift.
“What you see is what you get with me; I didn’t have much, but I had enough to get by until Adrian came along, and that was that.” It was during the holidays a few weeks ago that Bayford proposed.
Furthermore, he relocated his upcoming in-laws to a £1 million cottage situated on his £12 million estate close to Haverhill, Suffolk. Before they split in 2022, Newman and Biles were together for four years.
Before their romance ended, the two, who had first met in the Essex city of Colchester while working as bus drivers, had even talked about marriage. “Adrian has always been so soft and, in his way, he’s a real romantic,” friends of Bayford told The Sun.
“He moved his mother-in-law and father-in-law into one of the cottages on his estate because he is so devoted to Tracey.” They all get along so well, and let’s face it, there’s lots of space up there, so that might not be for everyone.
“It seems like nothing could go wrong right now.”
Since winning the jackpot, Bayford has proposed three more times, all of which resulted in his being dumped afterwards.
