Order discrepancies, such as delayed delivery, incorrect or incomplete orders, poor food quality, and hygiene and safety problems, can occasionally make the process difficult, even if online meal ordering is becoming more and more common. Many consumers air their complaints on social media, and food aggregator apps frequently respond appropriately.
This time, the issue started when a woman in Noida reportedly bought a vegetarian biryani from Swiggy during Navratri and ended up with a non-vegetarian one instead.

The woman posted a video in which she said the restaurant sent her a non-vegetarian dish on purpose:
The woman, Chhaya Sharma, said that the restaurant purposefully sent her a non-vegetarian dish during Navratri in a tearful video that she posted. The Lucknowi Kabab Parantha restaurant is located in Noida. It is situated in Sector 2 in Greater Noida, close to the Amrapali building.

In her video, she sobbed as she said that she had used Swiggy to buy a vegetarian biryani from Lucknowi Kabab Paratha. She took a few nibbles after receiving her order before realising she was eating non-vegetarian biriyani. “I said,” she said.
“I am a pure vegetarian woman, and they have sent me this non-veg biryani during Navaratri,” she says in Hindi in her video, which has been widely circulated online. “This is intentional. Whoever did this has done it intentionally. How can they send non-veg when I ordered veg biryani”
Here is the video
What the Noida police did next was as follows:
After the complaint, the restaurant proprietor was taken into custody:
The owner of the Lucknowi Kabab Paratha restaurant in Amrapali Leisure Valley, Greater Noida, was taken into custody by Noida police shortly after the video went viral on April 7. Mohammed Zubair of Alt News identified the restaurant owner as Rahul Rajvanshi.

A photo of the arrested proprietor of Lucknowi Kabab Paratha was posted on the official X account of Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar, along with the following message:
“Bisrakh Police Station (Central Noida):- Restaurant operator arrested for sending non-veg biryani after an online order for veg biryani”
The Bisrakh police station added that following a thorough investigation of the occurrence, appropriate action would be taken.
Social media users have been sharing the video extensively; it got viral very fast, receiving millions of views on Instagram and X. Internet users started talking about the video. While some were incensed, others questioned why a restaurant owner would be arrested for an error.
