Paulina is now 57 and having the time of her life. She makes a consistent effort to write heartfelt posts for her followers on Instagram in order to share her emotions. “As a model, you were expected to symbolise the physically ideal lady,” she claims in the most current one. So, how did it feel to be “judged” to be at the height of my physical beauty? I think that’s when I had the worst self-esteem. When you enter a room, do you instantly make everyone gasp? Walk into a place with the awareness that some people are murmuring that you’re not all that hot in person or up close, that Elle has a nicer body, or that Christie has whiter teeth.

She addressed a common misconception about beauty in the same piece, saying, “And now, when I truly appreciate what I’ve been given, in society’s opinion, I’m losing my beauty. I feel my best right now! The best balance I’ve ever experienced, in my opinion, is the result of my learning, maturing, and earning of wrinkles, paired with the way I look.

A woman is beautiful at any age, according to the former model, who expresses this opinion in another post. I no longer have the youthful smooth shine and beauty, but I have developed character, the woman claims. The thing I admire most about my girlfriends and other people I care about is their “They-ness.” the distinct physical traces of their lives, their individuality, and their capacity to be recognised as “they.”

She even emphasises her wrinkles in one of her Instagram images. She appears to view each wrinkle on her face as a prized possession.

Paulina’s swimsuit selfies have sparked a heated discussion.

Fans showered Paulina with praise and respect when she began uploading selfies of herself in bikinis. She added a strong caption to one picture that read, “Combat age. counteract ageing Rejuvenate. Anti-age. All of this is not feasible. However, this is what comes up when you search “ageing” on the internet. There are pills, potions, and exercises to slow down ageing. Do you know how to stop ageing forever? Dying.”

People lauded her for her knowledge and beauty and referred to her as their role model. Unfortunately, not all of them treated the model well. Porizkova began to receive unfavourable feedback, and one of the remarks claimed that she was “too old” to be seen in a bikini.

The supermodel, however, didn’t treat that lightly. She began typing with clenched fingers and a powerful reply.

People who think prettiness equals beauty do not comprehend beauty, she wrote. It’s partially because it’s a touch bland and unoffensive that pretty is easy on the eyes. It’s simple to comprehend and simple to overlook. Beauty is an exception to this. Beauty isn’t always soft. You may get hurt, and a scar may result. You must be able to see in order to appreciate beauty. This is why I think that as we age, our beauty increases. We can see it so much more clearly now that we have earned our beauty and know what it is. The concepts of ugly and elderly do not exist. only dim-witted and uneducated.

Do you share Paulina Porizkova’s viewpoint on ageing and beauty? When you were her age, would you be brave enough to take a bikini selfie?
