The news of the horrific crime that seems to have been committed by his wife, her lover, and a few other accomplices has shocked the country in the Meghalaya murder case. Due to its extensive social media distribution, the horrific honeymoon murder narrative has become a trending subject. The startling truth is that Shrasti Raghuwanshi, Raja Raghuvanshi’s “Influencer” sister, has been utilising his brother’s passing as content on her Instagram account, utilising hashtags like “trending,” “reel,” and “instamood.”

Shrasti Raghuwanshi, the sister of Raja Raghuvanshi, is receiving a lot of criticism for exploiting popular hashtags and transforming Raja’s passing into material.

Shrasti asserts that she is a cousin of Raja Raghuvanshi. She began regularly sharing wedding videos with Raja and heartfelt messages on her social media accounts after his passing.

As of right present, Shrasti Raghuwanshi has over 4 lakh Instagram followers. Raja’s account had no entries addressing her brother prior to her passing. Her usage of hashtags like #reel #trending #like startled online users. She captioned her images with #broandsis #justice #raja, #instamood #follow.

When Raja’s sister shared promotional messages in between the heartbreaking ones about her brother’s murder, she received hate mail:

Several social media sites have shared screenshots of these posts. @theskindoctor13, an X user, noted that she had been sharing promotional videos virtually every day even after her brother vanished. It is evident that she was insensitive to Raja’s death when she posted a clip advertising a mobile bumper sale on June 2, the day his body was discovered in a ravine. After four days, Shrasti was also spotted advertising a massage parlour on her Instagram page.

After her brother passed away, she kept posting advertisements, such as one for a beauty salon in Indore. When she noticed that the death of her cousin Raja Raghuvanshi was going viral,

Influencers are losing their basic human compassion as a result of reel addiction. In an attempt to increase user interaction and followers, she abruptly began sharing emotional reels with depressing background music and dramatic subtitles.

Reel addiction is stripping influencers of basic human sensitivity.

Raja Raghuvanshi went missing on May 23. His sister, an Insta Influenza with 373K followers, kept posting promotional reels almost daily, even after her brother’s disappearance. On June 1, the day his body was…

On the social media site X, another user highlighted her advertising posts with a screenshot and said,

Guy who was killed in Meghalaya, his sister is posting videos from the wedding to farm views and is also promoting Spa & Beauty parlor in the middle. Can’t believe such people exist

These posts and comments demonstrate how the outraged internet community responded to Shrasti Raghuwanshi’s insensitivity.

So basically cashed on his death
What a sick sibling

Content creators only care about their so-called impressions. You can see how every so-called meme maker turns serious issues into memes and jokes for their imprrssions which is very concerning.

Oh, how touching! She managed to squeeze in a mobile sale reel and massage parlour promotion between her brother’s disappearance and his funeral

True influencer dedication!,That’s influencer goals right there.

Milking everything for engagement is becoming second nature to people. Their souls died long ago.

More abuse was directed against Shrasti Raghuwanshi in a number of Reddit discussions that included screenshots from her Instagram post and the hashtags.

One Redditor wrote,

“The brother is such a poor soul… His wife first got him assassinated… And the Sister is milking his death for clout… Raja Raghuvanshi… I ohope, if there is an afterlife or a rebirth, you get the best one… You didn’t deserve any of this shit in this life. Peace!”

Another user responded by adding,

“She’s his cousin sister who is an influencer on Instagram. If you see her profile you aren’t going to see this guy (Raja) before he got married. She attended his marriage and made reels during his marriage… when this news came of the couple being missing, she started making reels related to them, and side by side also making content for other things too. It might be right to say though they were cousins, she used his disappearance, and now his death for getting reach and followers (as you all mentioned about the hashtags used).”

Some have backed Shrasti in the midst of all of this, claiming that since she is an influencer, it is her responsibility to post the promotional content at the appropriate moment. Professional influencers and content producers have an edit schedule that lasts for at least a few weeks, according to a user. On a predetermined day, the prearranged content will be made available.

A lot of the content is pre scheduled to be released on a set date. With a creator of such a reach, they would typically have a team to manage all this.
Seems like they missed to unpublish the scheduled reels.

Have you considered the fact that professional influencers/content creators have a edit calendar that spans at least a couple of weeks? Once people make serious money on social media, they no longer simply wake up and push out a reel or two just because they feel like it. I think…
