Samantha Ruth Prabhu has taken to Twitter to voice her displeasure over false information that a minister had shared about her split from Naga Chaitanya. Samantha is well-known for her outstanding acting abilities. Still, her personal life has also drawn much attention from the public, particularly after her marriage to Chaitanya broke down after a few years. Although the precise causes of their breakup are unknown, Naga Chaitanya recently made Sobhita Dhulipala aware of his engagement.
Amid these events, cabinet minister Konda Surekha released a contentious statement in which she implied that Telangana minister KT Rama Rao’s political meddling was a factor in the couple’s breakup. Samantha responded by stressing the value of respecting someone’s privacy on her Instagram account.

According to Surekha, when Samantha refused, it led to her separation from Naga Chaitanya. “KTR asked to send Samantha in return for not demolishing the N-convention centre. Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go to KTR, but she said no. That led to divorce,” Surekha was quoted as saying by Deccan Herald.
The N-Convention Centre, owned by Nagarjuna, was partially demolished in August by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) for encroaching on lake buffer zones. Although Nagarjuna obtained a stay order from the High Court later that day, Surekha’s remarks have drawn attention for all the wrong reasons.
She made it clear that there was no political influence involved and that her divorce from Naga Chaitanya was a private matter that was resolved amicably.
Actor Nagarjuna also attacked Konda Surekha’s assertions, calling them irrelevant and unfounded. He stressed that she should respect movie actors’ privacy and asked her not to use their private lives to further political causes.
Do not use the personal lives of movie stars, who remain outside of politics, to target your political opponents. Please respect their privacy. As a woman holding a responsible position, your accusations against our family are both irrelevant and false. I urge you to retract your statements immediately.”
