The enthusiasm around Koffee With Karan’s seventh season is appropriate. Koffee With Karan is a chat show hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The most recent episode starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar has captured fans’ interest, and trending hashtags are all over social media.
We can infer from the outset of the programme that the two famous people have little in common and would not make ideal couch mates. The first is your standard Bollywood movie star, whereas the second is one of today’s most well-known actresses.
They’ve never worked together on a film before, and they’re not even supposed to be co-stars. They aren’t close enough friends to generate intriguing rumours and make an appearance on the show.

“The third, f*** it, I’ll do it. I mean why not? I loved the song. It was a satire on the male gaze. I know I got a lot of criticism about pandering to the male gaze while making a satire on the male gaze. My logic was who else can do a satire a male gaze except for the nautch girl I was playing in the song, or an actor who has a wide experience or wide range of the male gaze? Only a nautch girl or me can satirise the male gaze.”
2. She was questioned by Karan Johar on “Nepotism in Hyderabad”
Everyone is impressed with her thoughtful response. She responded,
“I think it differs from apple to apple. Nepo kids or non-nepo kids, everyone comes with their own demons and their own demons to face. It is as simple, once you are in the game, even if your father is the coach, he is still standing on the sidelines. There is nothing he can possibly do for you to win the game. There is divine intervention.”
3. When Naga Chaitanya was referred to by Karan Johar as her “husband”
Without wasting time, Samantha corrected him and said,
“Ex-husband”
4. When questioned by Karan Johar if she and Naga Chaitanya get along well
She answered,
“You mean if you put us both in a room, you’d have to hide sharp objects? Yes, as of now.”
However, she later added,
“But it maybe sometime in the future”
5. When Karan Johar questioned her about her encounters with trolls
“I could not complain about it as I chose to reveal a lot of my life to the public. When the separation happened, I could not be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have the answers, which I didn’t have at that point. I came out of it ok.”
6. When Samantha jokingly implies that there is fairness between heroes and heroines,
The incident started when Akshay admitted that he was paid regularly. He was interrupted by her when she said,
“Per day salary would probably be higher than my one film salary”
7. “Though difficult, things are improving now. It’s okay. I am more resilient than ever.
She responded, “Yes,” with a stern expression.
“It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been.”

Speaking about how the Indian audience has been affected by Karan Johar’s family flicks, she stated,
“I have a bone to pick with you Karan. You are the reason for unhappy marriages. You have portrayed life to be K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham). In fact, the reality is KGF.”
