He has thus garnered a number of accolades at such a young age and seems to be bound for bigger things. This incredibly talented batsman was largely unknown prior to competing in the junior World Cup in 2018.
Gill occasionally even exceeded the team’s captain, Prithvi Shaw, thanks to his talent and commitment. The 19-year-old might very well continue to represent India for many more years despite having a long way to go.
He must have undergone a shift in the most recent years, though. His personal life, not his talent, has now kept him in the news all the time.
He has always been associated with two “Saras” from a different worlds, though he has never confirmed anything. One is Sara Tendulkar, the famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, and the other is Sara Ali Khan, a well-known Bollywood actress.
While his relationship with Sara Tendulkar is largely unknown or has only been discussed informally online, his relationship with Sara seems to be different.

Shubman Gill, a cricket player, recently appeared on Sonam Bajwa’s discussion show Dil Diyan Gallan, which is hosted by Preeti and Neeti Simoes.
He was asked several times about his alleged girlfriend Sara Ali Khan while he was there. However, the batsman responded as follows when the anchor questioned him about the fittest Bollywood actress in his opinion:
“Sara”
Later, when he was asked whether he dates the actress or not, he said
“Maybe”
While urging him to tell the complete truth, Sonam Bajwa said,
“Sara ka sara sach bolo.”
In response, Shubman said,
“Sara bol diya da sara sach. May be, maybe not.”
The talk show’s creator, Preeti Simoes, shared a clip and wrote:

Shubman and Sara’s relationship was initially observed in August of this year. In a video uploaded by TikTok user Uzma Merchant, they can be seen conversing while having dinner at the renowned Bastian restaurant in Worli, Mumbai. Since everyone was aware that Shubman had previously been linked to another Sara—Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter—many of the cricketer and actor’s fans were shocked by this.
The rumours began to resurface in October when both of them were seen leaving the same hotel and getting on the same plane. After seeing videos of Sara and Shubham checking out of the same hotel and boarding the same plane, many were certain that the two were dating.
Although nothing has been formally proven as of yet, what Shubman Gill said clearly suggests that a conflict is developing between them.
Sara Ali Khan’s relationship with Kartik Aaryan, who portrays her love interest in the film Love Aaj Kal, was recently made public. But according to reports, they split up in 2020. Sara has refuted the claim that she is now in a love relationship.
