Recently, it was revealed that Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was detained by the NCB’s top investigative officer, Sameer Wankhede, who was charged with corruption. Now, Wankhede has offered his conversations with SRK as evidence in his appeal, which he would use to argue his innocence when the accusations are brought against him.
The actor begged Wankhede to release his son in what appears to be a WhatsApp discussion, acknowledging that his kid had made a few mistakes but did not merit being imprisoned. The Pathaan actor asks Samir in the discussion to free Aryan from jail because the ordeal will break him, addressing him as Samir Sahab.
Shah Rukh Khan even begged Sameer Wankhede for his son to change and become someone of whom SRK and Wankhede could both be proud. Even more, he said that Wankhede’s assistance is priceless, and SRK expressed a desire to hug Wankhede whenever he was available for a meeting. He even praised Wankhede for his goal (perhaps to stop drug use) and promised to assist however he could.
Get your troops to move slowly for God’s sake, Shah Rukh reportedly said in one of the private discussions made public by India Today. I promise to be by your side at all times to help you with whatever good deeds you’re aiming to do. You know me well enough to know that I can keep a man’s promise. Please take mercy on me and my family, I ask you. My son has been a little wayward and we are a basic family, but he doesn’t deserve to be locked up like a seasoned criminal. And you’re aware of that. I implore you, guy, to have some heart.
However, in yet another outstanding text, SRK requests that the police uphold his integrity and assist him within legal bounds. “If you can aid in any way without jeopardising your reputation as a law enforcement official, please do so. I’ll always owe money. Please give this request some thought; it will be a tremendous favour because the family only wants their loved one home and does not want him to be stigmatised as having served time in a terrible prison. I’m asking for this above and beyond what is reasonable because it will really help with his future. Please take that into consideration for his sake.
When Aryan Khan still wasn’t released from jail, though, SRK texted Wankhede again and begged him to “please tell them to go the easy man and let me get my son home.” Please. All I can do is ask you; there is nothing else I can say or do. Even more, SRK swore he would never break the law or any other norms. You have observed my behaviour during all of this, he wrote. You know that if I disagreed with what you were doing, I would never stand by it. You claimed that you consider Aryan to be your own and that you wish to help him improve. Nothing I’ve done has prevented me from assisting in my son’s reformation.
Shah Rukh Khan promised Sameer Wankhede in a final text message, “I assure you I will do all of it and won’t shrink away from pleading with them to stop. However, kindly send my son home. You are aware in your heart that it has become a little too harsh for him. As a father, I humbly ask you to please.
Despite the fact that none of the texts have been cross-checked or confirmed. According to reports, Sameer Wankhede submitted these texts as part of his petition in response to the Rs 25 crore corruption allegations in the Aryan Khan drugs case.
