We enjoy seeing Bollywood’s many beautiful sibling duos showering affection on each other from time to time. However, much like any other family, there is a sister duo in the Bollywood industry that do not get along well. In fact, they can’t stand each other because of their feud. We’re talking about Karisma and Riddhima Kapoor, the Kapoor sisters. One is a well-known actress, while the other is a talented jewellery designer.
These two Kapoor families have a long history of feuding. Babita and Neetu Kapoor, the moms of both sisters, have a long history of feuding. While no one knows what started the feud between these Kapoor daughters-in-law, it is thought to have been going on for nearly three decades.
According to stories in the media, Babita offered an olive branch to Neetu by personally inviting her to Kareena Kapoor’s wedding to Saif Ali Khan. “Babita used Kareena’s wedding as an opportunity to mend relationships.” According to a source close to the Kapoors, this included a nice gesture towards the estranged sister-in-law.
Returning to the younger members of the Kapoor family, cousin Riddhima and Karisma’s relationship has deteriorated to the point where they have refused to attend each other’s wedding ceremonies. While Riddhima’s younger brother, Ranbir Kapoor, is known to have a close relationship with Kareena and Karisma, it appears that the sisters’ cold war has not abated after all these years.
To make matters worse, Riddhima, who owns the R Jewellery jewellery line, collaborated with Lolo’s ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur’s new wife Priya Sachdev, in 2017. The two women decided to start a business together.
While Riddhma has always shown her admiration for Priya, Karisma has labelled Sanjay’s new wife as a home-breaker following their divorce. Riddhima, on the other hand, has been seen liking and supporting Priya’s Instagram postings.
According to sources, “Priya’s fashion portal, Rock N Shop, will soon start selling Riddhima’s jewellery,” according to a source close to the situation. Priya has bought her jewellery line, R Jewellery by RKS. Not only that, but Riddhima will also appear in a promotional film for Priya’s website.”
Riddhima Kapoor, on the other hand, has never spoken about her relationship with her cousin on any platform or during any interviews. Following her marriage to Bharat Sahni in 2006, she spoke out about her relationship with Lolo, telling a national publication, “I don’t mind chatting to Karisma.”
Riddhima expressed this during her first visit to her maika since her marriage. “I may even go across to her home in Delhi,” she remarked, “in fact, her mother-in-law keeps calling me over.” Karisma, who has two children with her ex-husband, Samiera and Kiaan, divorced him on June 13, 2016, after 11 years of marriage. The Mumbai Family Court granted the couple’s divorce.
