A thrift shop in Belgium has caused quite a storm on social media. Individuals at Opnieuw & Co, a nearby Mortsel company, recently discovered an ancient photo album in which a woman posed next to Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Internet users started an investigation and posted some of the images online afterwards. Who is this woman embracing the online audience of Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Bruce Willis, and other celebrities of the A-list?
Afterwards, somebody noticed a tag she had in one of the pictures. Turns out, the ‘mysterious’ woman is actually Maria Snoeys Lagler, a former member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPS).
It’s a non-profit organization of reporters and photographers reporting on the entertainment sector. The association is composed of about 90 members from all over the world, leading the annual Golden Globe ceremony in Los Angeles every January.
Although it is obvious that Maria Snoeys Lagler reached nearly everyone by looking at the pictures leading the largest screens and levels. Or might it be the other way around? Maybe there’s a private club of all the celebrities in Hollywood who took their pictures with Maria Snoeys-Lagler?
