Public reactions were mixed, with the video sparking social media discussions. Abhinav’s mother, Jyoti Arora, and his lawyer filed a formal complaint after no police action was taken since their initial report on October 19. They have since sought legal recourse against seven YouTubers, including Ankit Patel, Shwetabh Gangwar, Rakesh Kumar, and others, accusing them of criminal activities that allegedly targeted Abhinav’s religious sentiments.
Statement on the Video and Personal Impact
Abhinav spoke out about the toll this incident has taken on his family, sharing that his sister has even been unable to attend school due to the backlash. Clarifying the location, he said that the video was from Vrindavan in 2023, not Pratapgarh, as has been falsely circulated.
Addressing those questioning his response to Rambhadracharya’s scolding, Abhinav compared the situation to everyday experiences where children receive corrections from their parents or teachers. He wondered why a simple reprimand from a respected religious figure was being sensationalized.
