Marylin Monroe appeared in How to Marry a Millionaire sporting an amazing one-piece bathing suit. Some girls still desire one nowadays, even if it isn’t in style anymore; some of them even make one themselves.

Romy Schneider’s character in The Swimming Pool dons a variety of bathing suits, but they are always either black or white. The intention of the colour scheme was to emphasise the character’s refinement. The dark bikini she wears at the beginning of the movie with straps around her neck is the outfit that stands out in my mind the most.

Cristina — Madly in Love (1981)

Ornella Muti’s portrayal of the princess made her wear a white bathing suit with a black edging. The suit is exceptional because of its straightforward style and opens back. That the main character was head over heels in love with her is not surprising.

C.J. — Baywatch (1989)

Even those who haven’t watched Baywatch are familiar with Pamela Anderson’s beachy appearance. And the reason for that is that the red one-piece swimsuit with the high-cut leg gained enormous popularity. It still draws a lot of attention and still looks beautiful.

Nicole — Fear (1996)

Reese Witherspoon plays a passionate girl in the film Fear. Her vulnerability and innocence are highlighted by the two-piece outfit with white embroidery. That suit undoubtedly has a special meaning for costume designers.

The character of Gwyneth Paltrow dons a swimsuit in the movie’s milieu of the middle of the previous century. The shorts are high-rise, and the bra is lace. According to fashion experts, her style is still fairly current because throwback bikinis still look wonderful.

There is only one word that comes to mind when you see Angelina Jolie’s swimsuit from Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, and that word is “practical.” She can move around freely in this suit thanks to its wide straps.

Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle watchers were astonished when Demi Moore’s villain showed up on the screen wearing a knitted outfit. The actor was able to get the iconic image of a surfer thanks to the outfit.

She is donning a swimsuit that was popular in the 1940s because the love movie has a 1940s setting. Although it appears to be a summer outfit to us today with a top and skirt, it appeared extremely daring in the middle of the previous century.

Cecilia — Atonement (2007)

The character’s swimsuit for Keira Knightley was created in the 1930s, which is when the movie is set. The key aspect of the swimsuits at the time was the belt, which took its shape from male swimsuits. If you look closely, you can also see that she is sporting a thin belt that matches the hue of her outfit.

Women’s swimwear in the 1920s was a frock with shorts underneath and was made of wool. Similar clothing is possibly being worn by Emma Stone’s character.

Rachel Brosnahan depicted a female comedian from the 1950s who was seen swimming in a polka-dot bathing suit. The 1950s aesthetic is reflected in the cone-shaped bra cups. For their meticulous attention to detail, costume designers deserve all the acclaim they can receive.

The school’s favourite student is Alexa Demie. She favours wearing vibrant clothing that makes her stand out. When she visits the beach, Maddy stays true to herself. Her black bikini, which has a ripe cherry on it, is gorgeous.
