Iffat Shaikh, his biological sister, reported him to the police, claiming that he had smacked her during a fight in the hospital where she had gone to see their parents.

In July 2024, Iffat tied the knot in a wedding marked by emotion for her family. She looked stunning in a red lehenga. She has, however, regularly tweeted about the ongoing conflicts in her family, even in light of her recent journey. When Iffat accused Adnan of physically abusing her and her father-in-law, she filed a formal complaint against him, which further intensified the controversy. Iffat was visiting her parents at Malad’s hospital when the incident allegedly happened, and Adnan smacked her in front of others. Later, she brought the allegation to Goregaon’s Bangur Nagar Police Station.
It’s important to remember that the siblings had previously fought. Adnan had already filed a complaint against Iffat in September 2024, claiming that she had defamed him on social media.
The siblings’ relationship seems to be unstable because, not long after their wedding, Adnan was accused of sharing photos of his fiancée.
