Another event has gone popular on social media, in which Shah Rukh Khan is said to have assisted in the rescue of an Indian YouTuber who was trapped in Syria.
YouTuber Manoj Malhotra, who operates the Travelling Mantra channel, recently posted a vlog about his recent trip to war-torn Syria.
In the video, he claims that when visiting Syria, they were stopped at a checkpoint and interrogated for a long time until officials realised they were from India, ‘the nation of Shah Rukh Khan,’ and let them go.
“Maaloula se nikalte hi humein ek aur checkpoint pe pakad liya tha,” he explains. His fellow tourist went on to say that he used to dislike Shah Rukh Khan but is now a lifelong devotee. Their driver said, “People like Shah Rukh Khan are here.”
