A video of a woman dancing to the song Aaj Ki Raat by Stree 2 in a metro coach went viral on social media, putting her on the internet’s receiving end.
The spontaneous show, which attracted the attention of other riders and swiftly infuriated social media users, happened in the centre of the metro coach.
Saheli Rudra posted a video of herself dancing to the song on Instagram. Several other passengers can be seen observing her with curiosity. Some others didn’t seem too happy with the surprise performance they saw on their way to work.
The woman stated that her act was “on public demand” in the caption.
But the enthusiasm on the internet wasn’t quite as strong as hers. A user said, “This is not the right spot for a dance performance; people are losing their sense of place.”
“Not everyone is here for your entertainment,” said an additional user. Please exercise caution.
Not one, but a few additional people didn’t hold back. One person commented, “You could have done this dance at home too,” and another wrote, “There is no demand for it from the public.” Don’t tell lies. Not everyone is as free as you are.
One of the users said, “Please get ready to face legal complications soon.”
